Perch yourself on the Natural Capital Center's Rooftop Terrace and take in the stunning Pearl District skyline. With 2,240 square feet of space, an outdoor fireplace, and fantastic views, possibilities from formal to casual abound.
Nuts & Bolts
Our rates include beautiful space featuring an outdoor fireplace and a handful of wooden tables and chairs, a venue coordinator to work with you on logistics, onsite security the day of your event, a limited sound system, and a list of sustainable caterers to choose from.
Hours
The Rooftop Terrace is available beginning at 5PM Monday – Friday and 7AM – 1AM Saturday – Sunday. Setup cannot occur prior to 5PM Monday – Friday.
Sound
The Terrace rental includes the use of our 5-disc CD player with indoor and outdoor speakers. MP3 players may be connected to our sound system. DJs and bands are welcome on the Terrace. However, all amplified sound on the Terrace above 65 dBA requires a noise variance from the City of Portland. All outdoor sound must end by 10pm.
Smoking
We ask that you join us in upholding our indoor air quality standards by not smoking on the Rooftop Terrace.

(Rental includes setup and teardown.)
- Bistro Tables: Six 36” diameter standing tables. $10 each.
- Wood Event Chairs: 150 folding wood chairs in a rich mahogany stain. $3 each.
- Market Umbrellas: Eight natural-colored canvas square umbrellas that open to 8.5', and are mounted on solid FSC-certified eucalyptus poles. $25 each.
- Tents: Three 10'x10' white tents. $75 each.
- Tables: Fifteen 60" round tables. $10 each.
- Charming LED globe cafe lights framing the Terrace fireplace. Available for $150; includes assembly and tear-down.
Additional items (think table settings, large tents, linen, twinkle lights and lanterns) may be rented from an outside vendor. Please make arrangements through your caterer or with a rental company directly.
