Friedman's Free Lecture in Portland

Thomas Friedman picPhoto: Fred R. Conrad of The New York Times

One thing is clear: The mindset that sent much of the world into economic, environmental and social crisis is not the mindset that will fix our problems. Thomas Friedman, author of #1 New York Times bestseller Hot, Flat and Crowded, has great ideas about how we can think fresh, change our mindset, and create a better tomorrow. In his Portland lecture, Friedman talked about the themes in his new book and ways to create a more resilient future.

When: Monday, March 9, 2009
Where: Portland State University - Stott Center, 930 SW Hall St.
Time: 12:00 noon

Post-lecture Q&A at 1:00pm, book signing at 1:15pm
