The Jean Vollum Natural Capital Center

Ecotrust's Jean Vollum Natural Capital Center is centrally located in Portland's Pearl district between avenues NW 9th and 10th, and streets NW Irving and Johnson. In addition to being a stop on the Portland Streetcar line, the Center is easily accessed by bus, bicycle, car, and passenger train.

Getting Here

streetcar Portland Street Car - Running from Portland State University (PSU) through downtown and the Pearl district, the Portland Streetcar stops at the Natural Capital Center (exit at NW 10th Ave. and Johnson St.). Visit www.portlandstreetcar.org for more information.

bus Tri-Met bus - The #77 bus has stops within four blocks of the Center. Visit www.tri-met.org for more information.

train Union Station - Within walking distance from the Center, Portland’s Union Station services Amtrak trains from a variety of origins. From the station, walk south to NW Hoyt, turn right, walk west to NW 9th Ave., turn right, and walk one block to the Center. Visit www.amtrak.com for more information.

Parking

If leaving the car at home is not an option, here are the closest parking options to the Natural Capital Center.

Ecotrust Parking: Ecotrust has 34 spaces in our parking lot that are available after 5PM Monday – Friday, and on weekends, free of charge. A dozen spaces are open all the time for two-hour visitor parking. (Note: parking patrol is strict, events often exceed two hours, and a fine is $50.)
