Why you should add local flavor to your holiday meals
We've all seen the stickers around town, imploring us to “make local habit.”
Quirky grammar aside, the message is clear. And if the proliferation of the dark-blue stickers with white lettering on cars and shop windows is any indication, Central Oregonians are enthusiastic about the mandate to buy local.
Food is no exception. Despite our tricky climate, there are a number of ways to put local food on your dinner table, even during the holidays.
