Ecotrust named as one of America’s most trustworthy charities

PORTLAND, Ore. – Ecotrust today announced that it has earned an eighth consecutive 4-star rating from Charity Navigator for the organization’s ability to efficiently manage and grow finances. Only one percent of the charities rated by Charity Navigator – America’s premier charity evaluator – have received at least eight consecutive 4-star evaluations.

The new “exceptional” designation for Ecotrust from Charity Navigator differentiates Ecotrust from its peers and demonstrates to the public that it is worthy of their trust. As the nonprofit sector continues to grow at an unprecedented pace, savvy donors are demanding more accountability, transparency and quantifiable results from the charities they support.
